STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擳wenty-five students from throughout Mississippi, as well as Alabama, Tennessee and Texas are 2020-2021 ambassadors for Mississippi State鈥檚 College of Education.

The College of Education Ambassadors serve as liaisons for the college鈥檚 faculty and staff to students, prospective students, alumni and other constituents.

鈥淭his is an amazing group of young people. They are excited to represent the College of Education and are eager to recruit new students to the Bulldog family,鈥 said Amy Prisock, COE recruiting coordinator.

Ambassadors represent the college at university events including Preview Days, Scholars Recognition Days, and Academic Insight, among other events. Membership is open to all undergraduate students enrolled in the college. To apply, students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. Those accepted must serve the group for at least two consecutive semesters, be active participants in the college, have an appreciation for educational opportunities, and reapply for the organization every year.
